Orb Dynamics was founded by Paul Officer, who has worked as a Structural Engineering consultant for over 20 years, designing and managing building projects worldwide.  Paul was an Associate in Mott MacDonald Buildings until 2013, before setting up and managing the London Office of a smaller consultancy until 2020 when Orb Dynamics was formed.

His project work has ranged in scale from small domestic and commercial buildings to numerous high profile, world class stadiums.  The stadium design work is where his appreciation of dynamic performance was developed, but his expertise was then utilised in a range of other projects where dynamic performance was critical, such as in medical facilities, gymnasiums and large entertainment venues.  This project work was worldwide, building experience in using numerous codes and guides, as well as an appreciation of the varying approaches to dynamics globally.
